Motorist Dies in Truck Accident in Gerona, Tarlac
A driver died and his one-year-old daughter is in critical condition after their vehicle was hit by a truck on a highway in Gerona, Tarlac, on Friday morning.
“The truck suddenly swerved a bit to the left side, and the car was approaching there, Sir, so that's where the collision happened. He allegedly lost control of the vehicle,” said Gerona Police acting chief Police Lieutenant Colonel Edilberto Santiago.
According to reports, the truck driver lost control due to a mechanical problem, causing the crash. The driver of the crashed vehicle was pronounced dead on arrival at the hospital, while his child is in the intensive care unit and his wife is safe.
