The Minnesota Wild began their six-game homestand with a 6-2 loss to the Utah Mammoth on Saturday, Oct. 25.
The Wild were coming off a rough road trip, with a 1-3-1 record and the loss of Zach Bogosian to injury. The team's injuries remained the same, with the exception of Bogosian's addition.
Both teams were on the first half of back-to-backs, with Filip Gustavsson starting in net for the Wild. The game started poorly for the Wild, with the Mammoth scoring three straight goals to open the game.
Despite a strong resurgence in the middle of the game, the Wild couldn't hold on and fell 6-2. The team will look to bounce back on Sunday.
