The Charlotte Hornets faced an unfortunate moment during their game against the Philadelphia 76ers. Brandon Miller, their third-year guard, injured his left arm while attempting to box out 76ers guard Quentin Grimes.
Miller was taken out of the game and into the locker room. According to the Hornets' official statement:
Brandon Miller left the game in the first half in Philadelphia with left shoulder soreness. He will not return to tonight’s game.
Before leaving, Miller logged 9 minutes, scoring 4 points and recording an assist.
