Divine Andrea Pablito, a 17-year-old from Bago City, has won the girls' U18 discus throw at the 2025 Batang Pinoy, earning her first gold medal.
Pablito, the daughter of farmers from Negros Occidental, threw 32.19 meters in her first attempt, a feat that no one could top among the over 40 qualifiers from across the Philippines.
- Trisha Nalla of Maasin City, Leyte, took second place with 31.26m.
- Gwenn Julia Salac of Tarlac Province took third place with 30.05m.
It's the first mint ever for the Grade 12 student from the Ramon Torres National High School, who had won nothing in her previous campaigns.
