Xi Extends Condolences Over Passing of Thailand's Queen Mother
President Xi Jinping sent a message of condolence to Thailand's King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua over the death of Thailand's Queen Mother Sirikit.
On behalf of the Chinese government and people, Xi extended deep condolences and sincere sympathies to the Thai royal family, government and people.
The Queen Mother has enjoyed high prestige among the Thai people.
Xi noted her enduring contributions to the bond between the two nations, and said that the Queen Mother, who was committed to promoting Sino-Thai friendship, had visited China on behalf of the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej.
