Canucks Defeat Oilers 4-3 in Overtime

The Vancouver Canucks secured a 4-3 overtime win against the Edmonton Oilers on Sunday at Rogers Arena, despite having seven players sidelined due to injury, including defenceman Quinn Hughes.

Kiefer Sherwood scored two goals, including the winner, while Brock Boeser and Elias Pettersson also tallied for the Canucks. Goalie Thatcher Demko made 26 saves, helping his team to a 5-5-0 record.

Boeser opened the scoring in the first period, taking a feed from Evander Kane and backhanding a shot past Pickard for his fourth goal of the year. The Canucks will host the New York Rangers on Tuesday.
