Staffordshire Leader Reacts to "Squandered" Billions of Taxpayers' Money
Staffordshire County Council Leader, Ian Cooper, has expressed his disappointment regarding the excessive spending of taxpayers' money on asylum hotels.

A report by the Home Affairs Committee attributed the issue to "flawed contracts" and "incompetent delivery", which has led the Home Office to rely on hotels as a primary solution instead of temporary measures.
