Mountain Passes Reopen In Region

The local Sierra Nevada mountain passes have reopened after the weekend weather system passed through the region.

Tuolumne County, CA - The Sierra Nevada mountain passes are now open. Caltrans reopened Highway 108 Sonora Pass at 11am on Monday and Highway 4 Ebbetts Pass at noon. Highway 120 Tioga Pass in Yosemite remained open throughout the weekend.

Caltrans encourages travelers to be cautious of icy and slick conditions in the high country, especially during early morning and evening hours. Clear conditions and above-average temperatures are expected for the remainder of the week.
