Harvest Season Comes to a Close

The harvest in Southeast Saskatchewan and Southwest Manitoba has concluded, resulting in an abundance of bushels due to favorable weather conditions.

A lack of extreme heat and timely rains contributed to one of the best crops in years, with

lots of bushels
being harvested.

However, low grain and oilseed prices have tempered the enthusiasm of farmers, including Blake Duchek, who seeded canola, wheat, and oats in the Atwater, Bangor, and Stockholm area.
