Thousands of international students in Hungary may face tightened scholarship contracts following a scandal at ELTE University.
A recent incident involved historian Alexander Yakobson from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, whose lecture was disrupted by students wearing keffiyehs and shouting that the lecture was political propaganda.
The lecture series, titled "Diverzitás és demokrácia az izraeli társadalomban", is still available on ELTE's website.
The disturbance led to the suspension of the lecture, with two ministers and the university rector demanding accountability.
