Czech President Ready to Shoot Down Russian Planes
Czech President Petr Pavel stated that NATO should be prepared to shoot down Russian aircraft if they violate NATO airspace.
This statement follows a similar remark by Lithuanian Defense Minister Dovile Shakalene and is in response to alleged Russian violations of Polish and Estonian airspace.
Russia's alleged violation of Polish airspace and Estonia should entail an appropriate response from the alliance, because if we are not united, sooner or later it will affect us.
According to Pavel, NATO's response could include the use of force, including military means, in the event of such incidents.
