Future Uncertain for North Bay Mayor
According to David Edward Tabachnick, a professor of political science, the findings against North Bay's mayor are serious and unlikely to be forgotten soon.
Tabachnick stated that Mayor Peter Chirico has acted in an "unethical manner" by breaching parts of the ethics or the Integrity Act for politicians.
It seems fairly clear that in some specific instances, the mayor has breached parts of ethics or the Integrity Act for politicians. So in and of itself, it's a fairly serious matter, these violations.
Despite this, Tabachnick believes Chirico may yet salvage his political career, as "politics is a rough and tumble sport, and you need a very thick skin to succeed."
