Kitty Burns Florey of Amherst will read from her new book, The Music of Eighty: Learning in Old Age, on Monday, Nov. The reading is free and open to the public.
She will also play the viola de gamba, an instrument she began learning in her "old age."
Ted Mone, Jeanne Horrigan, and John Horrigan, all of Amherst, shared photos of the gardens at Donrobin Castle in Scotland, noting the amazing variety of flowers in bloom.
