Poultry owners in Staffordshire have been ordered to keep birds indoors to prevent the spread of bird flu.

Birdkeepers are reminded to be alert to any signs of the disease. The measures have been introduced to protect poultry and other captive birds.

Anyone with birds is reminded to keep alert for signs of disease and to maintain good biosecurity.

These measures take effect from Thursday, 30 October.
