NBA Star LaMelo Ball Fined $35K for Obscene Gesture
LaMelo Ball is entering his sixth NBA season, a pivotal one for the young star. He has won ROTY and made an All-Star team, but hasn't led the Charlotte Hornets to the playoffs.
The Hornets started the year 2-3, including a huge loss against the Miami Heat. Despite Ball's 20 points, eight rebounds, and nine assists, they were blown out. His frustration led to an obscene gesture, which resulted in a $35K fine.
Ball's become the main man on the Charlotte Hornets, but still hasn't managed to lead them to the playoffs.
This season doesn't appear to be much different for the Hornets.
