TOYO Selected for Coaxial Closed-Loop Geothermal Feasibility Study in Japan

TOYO Engineering has been approved by JOGMEC to conduct a feasibility study on coaxial closed-loop geothermal technology in Japan.

The study, proposed by Toyo Engineering Corporation, aims to assess the technical feasibility of implementing closed-loop technology using the coaxial double-pipe system in Japan.

This next-generation geothermal power generation technology can be deployed in various geological conditions, as long as a heat source exists, without requiring groundwater or geothermal reservoirs.

The closed-loop technology does not require groundwater or geothermal reservoirs, and thus can be deployed in a wider variety of geological conditions as long as a heat source exists.

Author's summary: TOYO Engineering conducts Japan's coaxial closed-loop geothermal study.
