Field Fire Extinguished Northwest of Kingsley, Iowa
No injuries were reported after firefighters extinguished a field fire that began outside of Kingsley, Iowa, on Sunday.
According to Kingsley Fire Chief Brandon Sitzmann, the fire started in a ditch at C-60 and Noble Ave., northwest of Kingsley, Iowa, and burned around 50 acres, spreading north.
- The cause of the fire remains unknown at this time.
- Fire departments from Hinton, Le Mars, and Merrill were called to the scene to help.
