Ross Golf Club Youngsters Complete Perfect Season in Sixes
JUNIOR golfers from Ross-on-Wye Golf Club completed a perfect season and scooped more honours from a recent tournament.
The club’s two junior teams performed with incredible skill, passion, and sportsmanship on the regional stage.
Competing against their compatriots from Bristol & Clifton, the Kendleshire, Chipping Sodbury, and Lansdown Clubs, the Ross team had already dominated the season, winning four out of the five previous fixtures.
The Sixes League provides a platform for the club’s non-handicap juniors to test their skills in a fun, Texas Scramble format, playing six holes in teams of six.
The squad, bursting with talent and enthusiasm, was in high spirits tackling the fantastic Bristol and Clifton course.
They played their hearts out and once again topped the scoring, winning the fixture by a single point to cap off a perfect season.
