Busy Road in Kildare Re-opens After Fatal Crash
Kildare Gardai announced:
The incident on the N7 has been cleared and the road is now fully open. Thank you for your patience.
A fatal road traffic collision occurred on the N7 near Naas at 3:30pm on Saturday, involving a bus and a van between junction 8 and junction 7 eastbound.
- A man in his 30s was seriously injured and taken to Tallaght University Hospital, where he later passed away.
- The bus driver, also in his 30s, was uninjured, and two passengers received non-life threatening injuries.
The N7 motorway was closed pending a technical examination, but was reopened at around 4pm.
