Through The Grinder: Whyte Kado, Enduro Bearings Maxhit BB, Coros GPS watch and more
The Singletrack Test Team has put various products through the mountain bike test. The Whyte Kado features a full-power Bosch bike with 150mm rear travel, 160mm fork, 800Wh battery, and a full carbon frame.
A previous review of the Whyte E-160 RSX three years ago provides context for the new Kado. Although the Kado is an improved bike, it initially felt underpowered for its weight (24kg).
I didn’t get along with the Fox 38 fork. I could not find a setting that sucked up hits effectively whilst retaining the necessary amount of support.
The reviewer, a sub-80kg rider, found the Fox 38 air spring unsuitable and swapped it out for a 160mm travel Fox 36 fork to continue the review without bias.
