A high-profile Gaza peace summit has opened in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt, with over 20 world leaders attending to push forward a ceasefire and regional stability plan.
The meeting, co-hosted by Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi and US President Donald Trump, aims
to end the war in Gaza, enhance peace efforts, and ensure long-term stability in the Middle East.
Talks will focus on implementing the next phase of Trump’s 20-point peace plan, including governance in post-war Gaza and the fate of Hamas.
Notably, Israel and Iran are not attending the summit.
