Donald Trump never misses a chance to play saviour in someone else's tragedy, now focusing on Nigeria as a troubled spot where he can play superhero.
Christians in this country can't say they have the worst deal on the planet.
Many suspect his threat of U.S. military action over alleged "Christian genocide" is about politics and power, rather than saving lives, due to his wilful ignorance about Nigeria's complex realities.

- He declared consideration of taking military action, with the Department of War drawing up an intervention plan
This move is paradoxical, given Trump's previous stance against American military adventurism around the globe as an election candidate.
